SWIMMING POOL

The LuAnn Fischer Memorial Swimming Pool was built in 2005.  One of the best swimming pools in the area, the pool features a zero gravity entry with 2 big slides, a diving board, and a kiddy pool.

             Rates are as follows:

             Daily - all ages   $3      Baby pool   $3

             Season pass per person             $60

             Family pass - immediate family only   $200

             Parties up to 40 people              $100               Parties over 40 people   $125

             1:30 - 5:00 pm                          Tuesday through Saturday

             2:00 - 5:00 pm                         Sunday

             7:00 - 9:00 pm                         Tuesday and Thursday evenings

CITY FACTS

AIRPORT

UTILITIES

The City of Hooker operates the gas, water, sewer, and trash.

                 Water Rates:

                 $50 deposit

                 $26 minimum 3,000 gallons

                

                 Gas Rates:

                 $50 deposit or letter of credit from previous gas utility company

                 $5 minimum

                 The cost of gas fluctuates each month.

 

                 Trash Rates:                                                          Sewer:

                 $22 residential                                                    $11

                 $32 commercial

 

                 Deposits are refunded after 12 months of Good Pay.

                 There is a $50 after hours charge to have utilities reconnected if done after                  normal business hours.

                 Bills are mailed out on 1st of each month and due on the 10th of the month.

                 Unpaid accounts will be disconnected on the morning of the 20th.

                 Reconnect fees are $25 for each meter turned off.

BUILDING PERMITS

The City of Hooker must be contacted before any construction is started.  A building permit needs to be purchased for any new construction.  Cost of building permit is $25.  Please call 580-652-2885 for more information.
